A specially researched product coming from one of the finest producers of steel in India, Captain Avator Rust Guard is a technological marvel specially created to provide complete protection against corrosion. It extends life of the construction manifold while providing the best possible strength.

It is a Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coated Reinforcement Bar (FBE) manufactured for the first time in Eastern India with a capacity of 50000 MT per annum.

Latest in the block, it has equal appeal among private and government sectors for construction of Buildings, Bridges, Flyovers and Dams as well as Individual House Builders (IHBs).

It uses Fusion bonded USA technology wherein a metaloplast membrane gets infused with the top molecular layer of the steel body making it chemically neutral to all normal acidic and basic conditions.

FUSION BONDING

Fusion Bonded Epoxy is basically 100% solid ground fused powder particles, which when heated, melt to form a continuous adherent film.The metaloplast membrane being non-penetrative protects the steel from attack of oxygen and water molecules. It gives the highest resistance to corrosion under atmospheric environment and cement-concrete medium.

The fusion bonding behaves like metal and adds to the strength and ductility.

EXTENDED LIFE OF CONSTRUCTIONS

Since Captain Avator Rust Guard completely cuts off environmental oxygen and water in concrete, corrosion becomes impossible as a result of which the life of constructions increase manifold. It extends the longevity of structures in harsh corrosive environments.

BETTER WELDIBILITY AND STRETCHABILITY

High Strength and Ductility come from the fine grain multiphase composite structure. The Metaloplast membrane leads to better stretchability and toughness. Since mechanical properties of the rebar remain unchanged, the inherent strength of the TMT is uncompromised. Neither the outer surface nor the inner surface is raptured during bending operations and high thermal stability is maintained.

Captain Avator’s patented rib pattern ensures strong gripping of concrete in RCC under fusion bonding conditions. The Fusion bonding does not allow the coating to peel off to expose rebar surface and prominence of ribs are maintained leading to excellent gripping with the concrete medium.

The Fusion Bonded Epoxy coating is a single window procedure within the plant and is supported by a well-equipped, state-of-the-art laboratory with all modern testing facilities.
